Portobello Beach - Edinburgh Engagement Session

For Amy & Patrick’s engagement session, we decided to head to Portobello Beach for sunset. A beautiful beach not far from the city where they walk their puppy every weekend. We met up an hour or so before sunset for a little wander along the beach to take some natural photos of the two of them having a fun time. The light got better and better as the session went on, making for some stunning golden light across the beach. Like almost everyone I photograph, Amy & Patrick said they were a little worried about looking awkward in front of the camera. But honestly, it’s one of those things that just gets easier with time and I try to make it as relaxed and chilled as I can. If you are a bit worried about having your wedding photos taken, I would 100% recommend booking an engagement session. It’s really fun, you’ll get some great photos for invites/wedding website etc. and it’s such a great practice run before your wedding.
