My name is Simon Hird, and I am a wedding photographer and filmmaker based in Edinburgh, Scotland but am often found working all over the UK. Having documented 100+ weddings now, I’ve learnt the best way I can photograph your wedding is as your friend. I want to get to know you both, AND your friends and family. I’ll guide you through the planning process, be a warm and friendly face throughout and capture your wedding in the most honest and beautiful way I can. I know wedding planning can be a beautiful mix of exciting and daunting but I’m always here to help, whether that is to share advice, recommend suppliers or be a helping hand on the day in whatever way I can. I pride myself in being more than just a photographer on the day and want to make sure you have the best experience possible at your wedding.
