Edinburgh City Chambers & The Dome Intimate Wedding
Anna & Frazer chose to marry on the 1st of November with an intimate wedding in Edinburgh. They got ready together in a beautiful suite at The George - Edinburgh Intercontinental before catching a taxi up to the Old Town. We took a wander up the Royal Mile to take a few photos of just the two of them before the ceremony. The weather was a bit dreich but made for some very atmospheric scenes as we dashed along the cobbled streets between the undercover cloisters around St Giles Cathedral and Advocates Close.
Their ceremony at the City Chambers, attended by just their immediate family, was incredibly warm and lovely. They exchanged vows and rings before signing the register. After the ceremony, we took a few formal family photos inside the chambers. Afterwards, they all took taxis down to The Dome for a beautiful candlelit dinner in one of their private dining rooms.
When Anna & Frazer first got in touch they told me how they were really hoping for a relaxed and informal day so they could enjoy the time with each other and their family. A lot of my couples feel this way too, and would love natural photos that document all the important moments in an unobtrusive way. Here’s a selection of my favourites from their wedding.
